Mozilla is extending Firefox 115's support on unsupported devices, including Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, and macOS 10.12 to 10.14, and will continue pushing important updates until April 1, 2025. Firefox 115.21 will also continue receiving updates until March 4, 2025.

The United States Department of Justice (DOJ), along with 17 states, has filed an antitrust case against Google, citing its dominance in digital advertising, which has left competitors with the shorter end of the stick.
