Almost everyone wants to ride the TWS earbuds wave, so it’s not surprising that the majority of designs all look quite similar. It’s only recently that manufacturers have started diversifying the designs of not just the earbuds themselves but also the charging cases. We’re even starting to see charging cases with built-in displays, paving the road for even more variety.

There’s definitely still plenty of room for growth, especially for designs that eschew traditional shapes and form factors. This concept, for example, turns Bluetooth earbuds into something more than just an accessory: it also become something like a friend that keeps you company and entertained all throughout the day and even through the night.

The basic shape of earbuds chargers is box-like for practical reasons. It is, after all, easier to cram everything inside such a plain and simple shape. There are some that go for a tube-like design for some extra impact, though those tend to be more cumbersome to use because of fancy but unnecessary sliding mechanisms.

Being square doesn’t have to mean boring, even though the idiomatic expression does mean exactly that. With a few additional details, a plain old earbuds case becomes an anthropomorphized robot that wouldn’t look out of place in a Toy Story scene. That’s what the DMOOSTER D76 mini TV concept design tries to bring to the table, or to your pocket for that matter, giving an accessory a face and a relatable character you can get attached to.

There are sides to the same coin of this design. The most obvious is the armless robot form, with the charging case’s display as its expressive face. When you pull out its legs, however, you not only see the USB-C charging port, it also becomes the eponymous mini TV that sparks the imagination of a miniature toy world. These two modes don’t really have any practical function, but they bring the otherwise plain and boring accessory to life.

Of course, it’s still a charging case, but the location of the earbuds is curious. They’re actually outside the box, inserted in silos behind the case and to the sides. It does mean you don’t have to open the case to get the buds and put them back in, leaving more room for essential electronics or a larger battery inside. It also means, however, that the buds have a greater risk of being dislodged and getting lost, which would probably earn a frown on this cute robot’s face.

The shield comes along with a tiny Captain America Minifigure and is an essential set for any Avenger lover with a special spot in their heart for Captain America. The shield is not made from vibranium, but it certainly looks and feels like the real deal. And if you’ve ever accidentally stepped on a LEGO brick, you know it is as sturdy as vibranium.

3. LEGO Deadpool x Wolverine MOC

This LEGO diorama was created two years before the Deadpool x Wolverine movie, and it is fun and chaotic, involving a slow-motion build-up of the two superheroes launching at one another, and going for each other’s throats. Furniture is broken, curtains and decor have fallen, and there are several items lying on the floor. Xavier, Cyclops, and Storm seem to be just watching the scenario break out and do not intervene at all.

This is the best-ever Iron Man Hulkbuster suit, and it is a 4049-piece set. It is also the most expensive Marvel set released since it is priced at $550. The armor is inspired by the suit that appears in the Avengers: Age of Ultron. Sonic games have seen the faithful appearance of the Dr. Eggman Drillster for three decades now. Making its first appearance in the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 this intimidating vehicle has appeared in many titles that fans have loved all these years. However, the vehicle had never happened to make it through in the LEGO world, that is until now.

Finally, the LEGO Sonic set dubbed – Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster is now official on the portal. The 590-piece build is pretty easy to assemble compared to the other intricate LEGO builds we’ve seen. That doesn’t make it any less interesting though. The set comes with Super Sonic, Shadow the Hedgehog, Dr Robotnik and the Egg Drillster vehicle The Egg Drillster comes from the Mega Drive games. Additionally, this LEGO buildable comes with a Gun Wing from Sinc Adventure 2 and Egg Pawn Bandnik.

Along with this the Sonic’s Campfire Clash (77001) and Super Shadow vs. Biolizard (77003) sets have been announced as a part of the annual Sonic Central Livestream. The LEGO Super Shadow vs. Biolizard set is based on the main boss fight of the game and this one is slightly smaller consisting of 419 pieces. The scene is set to defend the Space Colony ARK from the daunting Biolizard. Fans can use the Super Sonic, Super Shadow, and Speed Sphere launcher to expose the villain’s weak spot and retrieve the Chaos Emerald. The set comes with the Super Sonic and Super Shadow minifigures to make things lively.

The 177-piece Campfire Clash LEGO set has the Sonic minifigure around the campfire. To make things more fun, kids can engage in rescuing Tocky by launching the minifigure through the speed sphere at the enemy robots G.U.N. Beetle and G.U.N. Golden Eye’s LEGO Vintage Billiards Table is currently a submission on the LEGO Ideas Forum, an online community for fans to share their own creative builds. With just under 2,000 votes, the entry is slowly making its way to the 10,000 vote mark, following which LEGO’s internal team considers it for review before deciding whether to turn it into a box set for people to buy. The StarSpeeder 3000 attraction of the Star Tours at the Disney theme parks takes riders on an exciting journey of the Star Wars universe. For those who have experienced the thrill of this intergalactic ride, the limited-edition Star Tours StarSpeeder 3000 makes complete sense.

The play set limited to just 3,000 units debuted at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event and for Star Wars fans the set will be available for purchase at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World starting 13 September. This set will be available via Tatooine Traders and interested buyers will have to get the park reservations to get one. Those who’ll go with the online purchase option can buy the StarSpeeder 3000 set exclusively from the Disney Store for $300 starting today.

The limited edition set comes with an LCD screen to play the original attraction footage with matching audio. The real ride is emulated with the scale seats having seat belts and opening doors that are activated with a chime sound. It comes with blasters, cannons and thrusters that have sound effects. To display it on your shelf, the set comes with a light-up display stand, along with the 3.75-inch minifigures of Captain Rex and R2-D2.

There’s an extendable landing gear that retracts when it’s time for action and locks in place. Those side panels are removable, and so are the rooftop carrier and roof panel. To keep the realism effect going, the set has exterior light effects too. This Star Wars playset requires six AA batteries to run and it would have been better off with an internal battery charged via a charging cable. That said, the batteries should last a long time unless you’re obsessed with playing around with the play set.

Any child of the 90s has probably at one point or another got their hands on a Tamagotchi. Before there were mobile phones where we spend most of our eyes and fingers on, we had to feed, clean and take care of our virtual pets on a regular basis. In case you didn’t know, there are still a lot of Tamagotchis around and it is celebrating its 28th birthday with a special egg surprise.

The Original Tamagotchi Celebration Egg will be arriving in a very special packaging inside and outside by 2025. What makes this special is that it goes back to its egg roots since the toy’s name comes literally from the Japanese word for egg, tamago. Instead of the normal plastic casing, this one is made from recycled eggshells, giving it a smooth, matte finish, much like a real egg’s look and feel.

In keeping with the eco-friendly celebration of the Tamagotchi’s anniversary, the packaging is also made from recycled paper. Aside from those two special things, you can play with your virtual pet in its usual way by feeding them, cleaning them up when they poop, and even disciplining them when they’re being naughty. And of course, they will grow up to be different characters, depending on how you take care of them.

This particular celebration egg can still be attached to your bag or even to your clothes with the ball chain, since you of course need to carry it around with you at all times. It will be available exclusively through Amazon by 2025 and will cost just $29.99.

The build is extremely precise and intricate, consisting of everything – ranging from the bullpen to the printer room, and the captain’s office. Secret details like Holt’s pet corgi Cheddar were integrated as well.

2. LEGO Downtown Abbey Set

LEGO builder BRO3 built a dedicated LEGO set for the historical drama series Downtown Abbey to celebrate the show’s 15th anniversary! This marvelous set displays the old Highclere Castle and is truly detailed. It includes the massive Crawley family, even the butlers and the castle caretakers who are the main cast of the show. The set contains multiple rooms, and 15 minifgures or 16 if you count the dog Pharaoh. It even contains Lady Mary’s bench.

3. LEGO Godzilla

This LEGO version of Godzilla is the first LEGO Godzilla out there, even though there have been ten or more movies already. The build was created by the LEGO lover Matthew Esposito, and it is a small-scale variant of the city-destroying reptile. The LEGO Godzilla is inspired by the ‘King of Monsters’ Godzilla from the 2019 movie. It is a couple of inches tall, equipped with a heavy body and long ass tail. The Godzilla can blow blue flames as well!

4. LEGO Men in Black

Created by the KostyanMan, this custom set of Men in Black depicts the final battle of the first movie in the MIB movie series. It involves MIB agents K and J, driving on a hyperdrive car to the park, to save the world from an evil alien monster! The set includes a diorama with decorations, transforming LTD, the Bug, and some Easter Eggs too. The mini-figures include Agent K, Agent J, Dr.Laurel Weaver, Frank the Pug, and a couple of other characters. J is also holding a baby squid in his arms!

I’m a 90s kid myself, but the beauty of growing up in the 90s was to see sitcoms building on the success of great comedies of the 70s and 80s. I was raised on Full House, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon, but also on the greats before it – Diff’rent Strokes, Small Wonder, Three’s Company, and Golden Girls. I was raised on these shows because of how mom would watch them on TV, while I hung around in the background, chuckling away at funny moments. Decades later, LEGO sets like these bring back that familiar feeling, as they capture the intricate details of our favorite shows. Designed by Martin_Studio, this fan-made recreation of award-winning show Golden Girls captures the iconic kitchen setting where protagonists Dorothy, Blanche, Rose, and Sophia tackled important issues like aging and friendship in a way that was both relatable and uplifting.

Ever since its inception, Hot Wheels changed the dynamics of toy car models that were cooler and performed better than any other toy back in the late 1960s. Even after more than six decades, the iconic brand has the same enthusiasm for a set of Hot Wheels.

Some early models are now prized collectibles since they were created only in a handful of units. While every car lover has had his/her collection of Hot Wheels cars ranging from hot rods to supercars, the brand has thought out of the box this time to create a Not Wheels sedan.

Designer: MSCHF and Mattel Creations

The idea comes from the creative pool of MSCHF, a streetwear brand known for its off-the-wall designs. It’s their first-ever Hot Wheels collectible, and going by the packing labels and text, it seems this is certainly not their last. The beat-up car inside the clear packaging carries the label “HW Normal Cars” on the front, hinting there could be more coming. This heavily used car look is inspired by the 1990s Japanese import scenario when worn-out cars were the norm.

This “Not Wheels” car has a missing wheel and two Real Riders classic tires, ensuring it doesn’t roll like any other Hot Wheels. To complete the busted look, the car has a yellow spare and a rusted hub. The rugged look continues onto the body with dents, incomplete repairs and dents scarring the exterior. MSCHF wasn’t going to stop there and went all in with a cracked windshield, hanging seat belts and dirty-fogged rear window with “WASH ME” finger inscribed to complete the theme.

There are cheap fix-ups dotting the bodywork including, mismatched doors and taped-on taillights. If you look closely, the cracked windshield has a yellow parking ticket hooked onto the wipers. Definitely, this car has been ditched for a long as the headlights are all fogged up. The $30 totaled vehicle scale model is all set to be released for buying on August 30 and this one will sell like hotcakes for its exclusivity. You could sport it in your post-apocalyptic diorama, industrial-themed desk or even shoot a short movie with a couple of these Hot Wheels mixed along with the more exotic ones.

Considered to be the biggest band on the planet (with nearly 80 million monthly listeners on Spotify), it’s sort of a shame that Coldplay still hasn’t gotten a LEGO set of its own. Getting your own LEGO set is almost a rite of passage to icon-dom, and we’re at a point where the Brit pop-rock band is well on its way to being immortalized in the brick form. LEGO master-builder MIKEYDENDEN decided to build is own kit based on Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour, featuring the band members, two stages, and even hovering fireworks. With an official nod from Coldplay themselves, the fan-made build cruised past its 10,000 vote mark on the LEGO Ideas forum, and is currently being reviewed by the LEGO internal team. If things go smoothly, Coldplay could have its own official LEGO kit for fans to buy!

I had the privilege of attending the Music of the Spheres tour during its Asian leg, and while the LEGO kit doesn’t even scratch the surface of how grand and awe-inspiring the production was, it’s definitely something. It has its own easter eggs, so to speak, with the presence of a main stage along with a smaller C-stage that the band often takes to in the middle of the show for acoustic covers of their songs. For added flair, you’ve even got fireworks at the top that go off during the songs Fix You, Sky Full of Stars, and right at the end of the show.

Zoom in deeper and the kit has a few more surprises, from butterfly and star confetti, to a colorful piano that Chris plays, ‘Believe In Love’ written on the stage backdrop, and Chris in his signature ‘Everyone Is An Alien Somewhere’ tee shirt.

The set obviously also has the usual suspects – band members Chris Martin, Will Champion, Guy Berryman, and Jonny Buckland all with their signature instruments. The only thing really missing here is the B-Stage, which extends off the main stage, connected through a ramp. The B-Stage is arguably where most of the action happens, as Chris performs on it, sometimes solo, and at other times with his crewmates. Given it’s the Music of the Spheres, it would also make sense to have some of the floating spheres that get thrown into the audience during the show! Maybe the redesign post LEGO’s internal review will feature these details.

While LEGO® sets were probably originally built for kids to enjoy, most of the people I know who play with these patented bricks and sets are grownups. Granted, these are adults who were somehow “deprived” of owning some of these pretty expensive sets, it’s just one of those toys that can be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages. There are sets however that are especially built for grown-ups as they are pretty detailed and contain a lot of intricate and authentic parts.

This new LEGO® set they’re releasing in particular is meant for adults and will appeal to those who are into space travel. The LEGO® Technic NASA model set includes a displayable model version of the Lunar Rover Module that was aboard the historic Apollo 17 mission back in 1972. It also includes 3 attachable equipment sets that includes a lot of authentic details. Basically, this LEGO® set is for the big boys and girls who are very much interested in outer space and everything NASA.

If you are a frustrated (or aspiring) astronaut, you can test out some of the steering and suspension included in the set and play around with equipment like the model battery pack (with its heating and cooling elements), a TV camera with antennae, communications unit, and even a shovel and drill so you can pretend to find LEGO® Moon rock elements. There’s even a Traverse Gravimeter Experiment that was carried by the Apollo 17 during NASA’s very last Apollo mission.

Aside from the enjoyment of building this LEGO® set, you will also get a deeper insight in the Apollo missions (if you didn’t already know everything there is to know about it). The young ones may need adult assistance for this as there are a lot of detailed equipment with this and it’s a hefty 1,913-piece set.

However, LEGO is no longer simply considered child’s play. Masterbuilders and creators spend days and weeks building precise and astounding LEGO creations that will truly blow your mind away.  1. LEGO Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 Performance Set

Meet the LEGO Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 Performance Set – one of the latest additions to LEGO Technic’s collection of motorsports replicas. The build is a 1/8 scale model that you can build piece by piece using 1642 individual LEGO bricks. The LEGO model is 13 cm tall, 63 cm long, and 26 cm wide. The LEGO build was created in association with McLaren Automotive to mimic even the smallest of details to perfection.

Designed by TaeYang Lee, this LEGO Batmobile draws inspiration from the movie’s fascinating rollercoaster plot. He used Mecabricks, a LEGO modeling tool to build this amazing build. The creation is much like the on-screen Batmobile, and it is based in a dark and gloomy world, with a sinister environment. The Batmobile has a matte black color, with toughened wheel rims, and a reinforced bumper build for the kill.

4. LEGO Bentley Blower

The Bentley Blower is one of the icons of pre-war racing elegance and power, and LEGO is paying tribute to its 100th anniversary and infamous design. The LEGO Ideas Bentley Blower is designed by LEGO builder ‘N.ik.Le.go.’, and it perfectly captures the old-world charm of its powerful predecessor in a scaled-down and compact form. This LEGO MOC is made using 707 bricks, and is pretty uncomplicated compared to the other LEGO builds.

5. LEGO Peugeot 9X8

LEGO builder Brick-A-Brac celebrates Peugeot’s 9X8 and built his own LEGO build of the 9X8 supercar. Made using 1320 parts, the car measures 20 inches long. It is equipped with extraordinary detail and has all the branded graphics on its body. It has a sleek design, commendable size, and loads of attention to detail, making it a must-have gem for LEGO + car enthusiasts!

6. LEGO McLaren F1 Car

Meet the LEGO replica of the 2021 season Formula-1 car. It is quite jaw-dropping and is nine times the size of the collectible LEGO version which was quite a hit. The 1:1 LEGO variant is at another level altogether and requires much time and effort to be built. It took 1893 man-hours to put the 288,135 LEGO bricks together, creating a 5.7-meter-long, 2.4-meter-wide structure.

7. LEGO FedEx Iconic Truck

This LEGO FedEx iconic truck was made using LEGO bricks to celebrate FedEx’s 50th anniversary. The company has a workforce of around 500,000 employees, as well as a fleet of 700+ aircraft, and 200,000 vehicles. This incredible LEGO build pays tribute to the company. It is white with a FedEx logo on the front and the side. It also has a diamond-shaped DOT hazardous chemical flip sign on the front.

8. LEGO McLaren F1 MP4 Ayrton Senna

The LEGO form of the McLaren F1 MP4 Ayrton Senna was added to the LEGO Speed Champions and Technic lineup. It serves as a stunning tribute to Ayrton Senna – an undisputed legend of motor racing. The set includes 693 pieces and has a Senna Minifigure on the podium, with the winner’s trophy, and a plate engraved with the photo and quote. McLaren is next to him in power mode.

9. LEGO Back To The Future Time Machine

Meet the LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine! This one is better than ever and more detailed. It includes a Flux Capacitor light brick, gull-wing doors, and printed dashboard dates. You can add the different equipment from the different parts of the movie – including the lightning rod from the first film, and the hood-mounted circuit from Part III.

10. 10321 Corvette LEGO Icons Set

This cute compact Corvette LEGO Icons set celebrates the first-ever Vette that rolled out in June 1953.
