This Is The Tiniest Tiny Home We’ve Seen With A Clever Space-Saving Layout & Loads Of Storage

18 août 2024 à 23:30

Designed by France’s Baluchon, the Nano Suisse is really one of the tiniest tiny homes we’ve ever seen. It may be super small, but it is still functional and practical enough to live in. It measures 3.5 m in length, and features a clever space-saving layout that can accommodate two people, and also house a home office. Typical Baluchon homes are twice the size of Nano Suisse, so it is quite small, although it is described as the “big sister” to Baluchon’s Nano home. However, the size difference isn’t much at all, since the Nano Suisse features an increased length of 7.8 inches. However, Suisse’s interior is pretty different and has plenty of storage options.

Designer: Baluchon

Founded on a double-axle trailer, the Nano Suisse features red cedar cladding amped with aluminum accenting. As you enter the home, you are welcomed by a home office area, which also serves as a dining area. It contains seating for two people, a big porthole-style window, and plenty of storage. The storage is pretty commendable when you consider the size of the tiny house. The space also includes a sofa bed, which can be used in the main living space and bedroom. This section includes more storage as well.

Although, you must take into consideration that the kitchen is quite small. It is basic – equipped with a fridge, sink and some storage. It also contains a portable stove, but besides that, it doesnt have any other amenities. This could be considered bare for some people, so the home is only suitable for short stays, or for people who are okay with a very simple life.

The bathroom is the only separate room in the tiny home, and you can access it via a sliding door from the kitchen. The bathroom is integrated with a shower and toilet, but there isn’t any sink, since there isn’t much space, to be honest. A small storage loft has been placed above the bathroom. Currently, the Nano Suisse has been delivered to the owner’s land in Switzerland. We are unsure of the home’s pricing, but Baluchon’s tiny homes usually start at around US$92,000.

Baluchon’s Tiny House Serves As An Office For A Health Professional Who Works On The Go

10 juillet 2024 à 17:20

Acclaimed tiny home maker Baluchon recently created a tiny house that is intended to be a portable house for a health worker. Named the L’atelier de Saint-Joseph or Saint Joseph’s Workshop, it is founded on a double-axle trailer, measuring almost 13 ft in length. The home features a finishing of red cedar cladding and aluminum and is powered by a standard RV-style hookup. We aren’t sure what kind of healthcare the structure will be used for, but it is designed for a healthy professional who will be offering advice from there.

Designer: Baluchon

The interior of the structure is quite compact and features a finish of solid oak and spruce. It is filled with loads of natural light, due to the generous glazing. Curtains have been incorporated into the home to offer privacy.  As you enter the space, you are welcomed by a reception area. There is a generous amount of space near the large window, and it is occupied by a bed with loads of integrated storage. A work area with a desk is located nearby, and it includes some seating as well, including more storage space. A compact wood-burning stove has been incorporated as well to heat up the small office.

The structure doesn’t contain any sleeping lofts, as it isn’t going to be used as a home, but Baluchon did integrate some loft storage space above the bathroom. The bathroom seems to be quite compact, and it only includes a sink, shower, and toilet. The L’atelier de Saint-Joseph isn’t very well-equipped, but it does have all the essentials one would need to get their work done throughout the day. It isn’t intended to be utilized as a home, hence it doesnt feature a kitchen or sleeping loft, but it does include a workspace, as well as a comfy bed for rest.

We aren’t aware of what the L’atelier de Saint-Joseph is priced at, but Baluchon’s models and tiny homes usually start at around  US$85,000.

Baluchon’s Little Starter Home For A Couple’s Son Serves As A Clever Space-Saving First House

3 juillet 2024 à 23:30

Named the Midgard, this space-saving starter home was designed by Baluchon and was built for a couple who wanted their son to have his own living space in their garden. It is intended to be their son’s first independent home, while also maintaining a connection to the main home and the family. It features a clever design, that maximizes the functionality of the compact space. It has a length of 20 feet and serves as a comfortable guest sleeping area or a home office.

Designer: Baluchon

Based on a double-axle trailer, the Midgard tiny home features an exterior made of red cedar and aluminum accenting. The tiny home’s length is nothing special, about average for French models, on account of the country’s strict towing laws. But it is much smaller in comparison to the North American tiny home models we see nowadays. As you enter the home, you are welcomed by the living room. The living room is amped with generous glazing and plenty of storage space. There is a sofa bed for guests, and a home office is positioned next to it, consisting of a desk and a chair.

The living room and the kitchen are connected, and the kitchen is pretty well-designed and stocked for a typical French tiny home. The kitchen contains a sink, fridge, oven, two-burner propane-powered stove, as well as a compact dining table intended for two. The dining table can be easily folded away when not in use. The bathroom is placed next to the kitchen, and you can access it via a sliding door. The bathroom features a sink, toilet, and shower.

The Midgard tiny home includes two lofts – one is placed above the living room, and serves as a small yet efficient storage area. The second loft functions as a bedroom, and you can reach it via wooden steps. This room is like most tiny house-style bedrooms, equipped with a double bed and a low ceiling. There is some storage space tucked away behind the headboard area.

With A Kitchen That Extends Into An Outdoor Bar, The Mirasol Tiny Home Is Great For Hosting Parties

7 mai 2024 à 11:40

Tiny homes have a lot of perks to them, but one of the veritable cons is that they aren’t too great for hosting. These compact homes can make it uncomfortable and stuffy to have friends over, however, this is where Baluchon’s Mirasol home comes to the rescue. Although it features a compact size, it still lets you socialize with your friends comfortably, since it has a guest sleeping area and a kitchen that extends to form an outdoor bar. Pretty cool, right?!

Designer: Baluchon

Founded on a double-axle trailer, Mirasol features a length of 20 feet and it is clad in red cedar with an aluminum accenting. The interior of the home is finished in ash and spruce, and it is powered by a standard RV-style hookup. The home also has a terrace along its exterior which was set up after the pictures were taken. This terrace teams up with the drop-down bar outside to extend the living space quite a bit, letting the owner host some cool parties! The kitchen also has operable windows allowing the host to pass food and drinks with ease. The exterior also includes a small detachable pantry on one wall, allowing food and drinks to be cooled outside.

The interior of the house has plenty of glazing, creating an airy and spacious home with a light-filled ambiance. The living room includes a large L-shaped sofa bed which serves as a guest sleeping area. There is some storage space as well. The kitchen contains a breakfast bar with stool seating for two, as well as a sink, oven, small fridge, two-burner propane-powered stove, cabinetry, and some shelving. This space is connected to a compact bathroom with a toilet and shower.

However, the Mirasol tiny home only has one bedroom which can be accessed via a removable ladder. The bedroom is like most bedrooms seen in tiny homes. It has a typical loft-style interior amped with a low ceiling and a double bed. The exact pricing of the Mirasol tiny home is unknown, but usually Baluchon’s models start at $91,000 USD.
