Jetpacks have long been a dream for humanity, but we’re still far from seeing people regularly strapped into them, flying from home to work. However, an Israeli startup believes it’s much simpler to provide a harnessed jetpack that lets people fly underwater, rather than through the air, at speeds of up to 5.8 mph. It’s called the Shark Jet Pack and is designed to use water jets attached to the back, enabling wearers to dive deep into the sea and swim alongside sharks and other marine life.

The KikFin Shark Jetpack features two pectoral-inspired fins, which help the device mimic the movements of fast sea creatures like sharks, thus the name. Worn on the back, it gives the wearer hands-free freedom to move freely through the water as though they were part of the ocean’s natural ecosystem.

The KiKFin Shark is harnessed around the shoulder and meant to rest on your back like a jetpack designed for flying. It is lightweight, so you won’t feel its bulk on the shoulder and back. It tips the scale at 13 pounds (slightly over 6 kgs) with the battery onboard, and can thrust you through the water at blistering speeds that you can control from the glove in the hand.

The top speed we are talking about is 5.8 mph, which is made possible by two cylindrical thrusters on the back. Each of them contains a propeller to provide the propulsion. The cylinders are connected to the pectoral fins for stability. The jetpack can allow you to dive down to depths of 131 feet (40 m), so it’s not just for shallow swimming in any way.

The glove works as a speed controller, letting you select between three speed modes depending on what creature you are following, or what predator is chasing you. While speeds are fascinating, it’s how you maneuver the jetpack that will win you over. The wearer is required to simply tilt the head in the direction they’d like to go. The sensors on the Shark will pick that up and adjust the body position and the thrusters accordingly.

The entire rig is powered by batteries. These are embedded within the fins to remain cool during operation. Designed to last between 45 and 85 minutes, depending upon how it is being used. These are swappable, so you can instantly stack in a new one without having to leave the water. The KiKFin Shark jetpack was briefly available on the company website for pre-order at $500, we learn. Currently, the website resides behind a password wall and we cannot confirm if KiKFin is still taking preorders, what the retail price is going to be, or when we can expect to fly underwater with the Shark.

Germany-based Sunlight is not among the top brass, but it is an adventure company with an impressive fleet of camper vans and motorhomes. While other companies are stressing on configuring vehicles to accommodate passengers, Sunlight has tailored the new Vanlife – yes, the camper van is called Vanlife – with a layout that can accommodate your gear and a few guests without hampering your privacy.

Oftentimes, people are faced with the dilemma of how to configure their camper vans to make place for more than a couple of residents, without (of course) compromising the legalities. With the Vanlife, Sunlight has most brilliantly been able to create that ideal layout and an appealing design, which every family or group of friends who like to travel together for an extended time would appreciate. But would they really do? Let’s head down to find out.

The camper van has a pop-up roof, accessible via a storage-integrated internal staircase, which obviously would be the chief sleeping section. The room below has convertible seating for remote working, dining, and sleeping a couple. The standout here (and potentially a letdown also) is the separate cab. Since it is walled off from the living area, it takes up the space to seat an additional set of people during the day. You get the extra convenience, a warmer, and private living space, but up front, the Vanlife only carries two people in the cab while driving.

So that gets me to thinking, if the numbers don’t match up for occupancy during the day and night time usage; is the Vanlife only made for a couple’s living in it as a mini-home on wheels: where you can sleep stargazing happily in the pop-up section and have the living area and dinette laid out like in your apartment back in the city. And of course, the area can also be used as a remote work desk even if you’re working a graveyard shift.

Until Sunrise plans to add another row of seats in the cabin, the flexibility and convenience of a second bed always stands, which can accommodate a couple on the way, should they choose to spend a night in your classy Vanlife. Despite the compact van size, the freshly thought layout with full separation from the driver’s cab bestows the camper van an exceptional feeling of spaciousness. So, you get a wet bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is located right across the staircase and features, folding sink, a shower (that swings out through the window for outdoor use), and a bench toilet. The kitchen has a dual-burner stove on a flip-up worktop, and a 64L fridge under the staircase.

To ensure you can have extended time on the road, both as a couple or with a set of friends, Vanlife gets 100L of fresh water, 90L waste water tanks, and a rechargeable 95Ah battery. Its convenient design clears up space in the middle to store and carry your adventure gear, and this entire package is priced at €58,999 (roughly $68,000).

You can expect tablet-level versatility from your TV when LG is involved. The South Korean electronics giant previously demonstrated this with the Go model of its wireless StandbyME, which came in a carry case and was designed for outdoor use. Now making its global debut, the new StanbyME 2 offers even greater flexibility. The device is fully detachable from its movable docking stand, allowing it to function as a tablet, hang on a wall as a digital clock, or serve as an ambient display. And if that’s not fun enough, you could even pack the damn thing in the boot of your vehicle and take it camping or to a family picnic.

But it’s not just the portability and multi-orientation abilities that have changed with the StanbyME 2. The new model features an upgraded resolution and enhanced options for customizing audio, visuals, and controls, which can be tailored to users’ personal preferences and diverse media consumption needs, based on the environment it’s being used in.

The battery can be charged by docking the display to the stand and using USB-C. With no need for a constant power source, LG’s new display is convenient for both indoor and outdoor use. Like the original StandbyME, the StandbyME 2 comes mounted on a wheeled docking stand for easy mobility. The device can be detached from its base with a single click to be used independently for binge-watching shows, playing board games, or setting up at your creative workspace.

The StanbyME 2 is not a small device. It features a 27-inch QHD display with a native resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels. Interestingly, it offers a dedicated 60Hz refresh rate – don’t bother gaming if you were thinking – but of course, you can find many other practical uses for the detachable screen. If you don’t want to use it as a large display tablet, you can use its built-in strap to get it up on the wall, where it’s your photo frame in disguise.

Of course, it’s portable, but the StanbyME 2 measures 623 × 364 × 28.5 mm and weighs 4.3 kg without the stand. So, it’s no kid’s play to fiddle with it or even think of detaching and moving it around. With the stand included, the display weighs 15.2 kg. The device is powered by LG’s α8 AI processor, runs WebOS 24, and supports voice control. The gadget is not dust and water-resistant, and it is advised to be placed away from direct sunlight.

Courtesy of the AI processor, the device can adjust brightness and tone based on ambient lighting. The 10W side-firing speakers (change output automatically based on the screen orientation) support Dolby Atmos and AI Sound Pro for virtual 9.1.2 surround sound. Clear Voice Pro feature helps enhance speech clarity on the device, Dolby Vision delivers cinematic visuals, while Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, HDMI with eARC, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, and a 5V USB port take care of the connectivity. Scheduled to start shipping in the US later this month for $1,400, the StanbyME 2 includes LG ThinQ, Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, and Google Home integration.

As a rule of thumb, you want the camper in the back of your truck to be lightweight. There are multiple reasons for it: safety, performance, and durability. I don’t want to get into details of it, but if you know what I’m trying to imply, you would like the Switchback pick-up camper. At just 375 lbs, it is a great option for those prioritizing weight savings.

The feather-light camper is made entirely of rot-proof aluminum, which adds to its longevity, and makes the Switchback a solid investment for people who camp in different weather conditions throughout the year. Of course, the weight is the first striking aspect from a camper’s point of view; but for me, it’s the A-frame form factor, which really wins the heart.

Designer: Aliner 

Designed equally well for off-roading into the wild or camping under the stars, the Switchback, by Pennsylvania RV manufacturer Aliner, is compatible with most mid-size and full-size trucks. When in drive mode, the camper folds down into a box and sticks just slightly above the bed walls. You can park the vehicle easily in the garage with the camper mounted or take it where your heart desires without impacting the mileage too much. When you’re at the camp, clip open the box, lift up the side hard walls in A shape, stretch out the inner fabric lining and swing the split door open to have yourself a nice sleeping camper. The entire folding and unfolding process takes under 30 seconds.

Aliner has not done anything fancy in the Switchback. Provided with a comfortable 60″ x 72″ bed (which doubles as bench seating, when you’re living out a mid-day storm at the camp), the camper is only your cozy above-ground shelter on a short overnight or, at max, a weekend adventure. Aliner is mulling the addition of an electrical system, but that’s for an upgraded model. For now, it’s the bare minimum that you’re going to get for the $9,500 asking price.

This is Aliner’s first niche pick-up camper, but not the first A-frame camper. The Pennsylvanian manufacturer is a world leader in compact and versatile campers, most A-shaped, symbolizing freedom and exploration. The Switchback, in addition to the sleeping arrangement inside, features a pair of long, lockable drawers, just outside at the entrance, below the camper floor. The drawers are 5 feet deep and should be able to store a camping stove, adventure gear, and other necessities. The cabin interior however measures 5.8 feet at the highest point. It is not standing height for everyone, but should be comfortable enough for the time two people plan to spend within the Switchback. Given its basic features, robust construction, and unique shape, the pick-up camper is easily the best, lightweight, full hard-sided truck camper out there!

For an audiophile, Audio Technica is not an unheard brand, bringing high-fidelity audio to our ears with a balanced sound signature. The Japanese manufacturer prides itself on durable and reliable performance at an excellent price range. Known for its quality studio gear like headphones, mics, and amps, the brand has a strong foothold in the IEM and earbuds market. No matter if you are a casual listener or someone who performs on the big stage, Audio Technica has got the right pair for you.

Riding on the success of the ATH-TWX9 released in 2022, the successor is here in the shape of ATH-TWX9MK2 noise-cancelling wireless earbuds. The TWX9 garnered a lot of attention because of its sound quality and unique self-sanitizing capabilities. Even though I’ve never gotten my hands on the pair, I have used LG Tone Free FN7 earbuds that have a similar feature aimed at audiophiles who care about hygiene.

ATH-TWX9 wireless earbuds retain the stem design while adding a lot of upgrades that should pit them well against the likes of Sony, Bose, and Technics. The form factor is a tad sleeker, and the oval housing promises a secure grip for better stability. The buds come with IPX4 water-resistance protection for protection against the odd water splashes. However, the case gets no such protection rating, which makes it vulnerable to water splashes or a dunk in the shallowest of pools. The self-cleaning feature comes courtesy of the integrated UV LED sterilization system that sanitizes the buds when they are resting inside the case. They have made the buds and the case more resistant to smudges and scratches with a matte finish and satin accents.

The real deal maker is the improved sound driver that is more sensitive towards mid-range and dynamic range. Also, Audio Technica has certified them for High-Resolution Wireless. This means the vocals will be crisp and the low end should have more rumble, just like some of the open-back headphones. Supported audio codecs, including Qualcomm aptX Adaptive (up to 96 kHz 24-bit), the standard AAC, and the SBC formats should suffice the needs of every type of listener. Another major consideration is the inclusion of feed-forward and feed-backward MEMS microphones for hybrid active noise cancellation. These microphones have a frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 10 kHz with a sensitivity of −38dB (1V/Pa at 1 kHz), making them ideal for clear calls in the noisiest of environments.

They come with a runtime of six hours when ANC is on and up to 18.5 hours in the case. This number is even more when the ANC is turned off.  ATH-TWX9 comes pre-loaded with nature and meditation sounds for kickstarting your day on a positive note or winding down in the evening. The earbuds will come in black or white color options with a price tag of 38,500 Yen (approximately $270). They’ll be released initially in Japan on July 11, 2025, with a global release coming soon after, with an expected price of $300, just like their predecessors.

Classic cars often become platforms for bold customization, but few reimaginings are as visually striking (or ugly, I have to admit) as this one. Italian mechanic Andrea Marazzi has transformed a 1993 Fiat Panda into what is now being described as the world’s narrowest functioning car. At just 19.6 inches wide, the one-seater electric vehicle looks more like a cartoon sketch brought to life than a road-ready hatchback. Yet it can move, steer, stop, and drive like any other car. That said, I would never imagine myself driving this one-eyed Cyclops in this lifetime.

Marazzi, who works at his family’s scrapyard and mechanical workshop in Bagnolo Cremasco, spent over a year building the vehicle as a tribute to the original Fiat Panda. Nearly every original part of the 1993 car has been reused in the process—doors, lights, roof, and wheels—but the body has been split vertically and rebuilt to shrink the vehicle’s width down to a comically slim profile. What was once a compact city car is now a sculptural slice of steel with just enough room to accommodate a single person, seated at the exact center.

Powering this narrow Panda is a small electric motor borrowed from an e-scooter, paired with a 24V battery that gives the car a modest top speed of about 15 kilometers per hour and a driving range of approximately 25 kilometers. It’s not built for real-world commuting, nor is it legally road-registered. But it functions exactly as a basic car should: offering forward and reverse drive, braking, turning, and a working headlight and turn signals. While Marazzi originally created it as a showpiece, the vehicle is fully operational and was recently driven in public at an enthusiast gathering in Pandino, Italy.

The car made its debut at “Panda a Pandino,” a festival celebrating 45 years of the Fiat Panda. Surrounded by thousands of conventionally sized Pandas, Marazzi’s single-seater stood out immediately. Videos and images from the event quickly went viral online, leaving viewers fascinated by its proportions and mobility. Many were amused by how the Panda looks almost flattened, as if it had been squeezed into a 2D shape while retaining its ability to move. Others praised the engineering behind it, describing it as a brilliant blend of creativity, nostalgia, and humor.

Though it’s not street-legal, Marazzi is in the process of submitting the car for a Guinness World Record as the slimmest functioning vehicle ever made. At just a third of the width of the original Fiat Panda, it’s an extreme but fascinating reinterpretation of automotive form. More art installation than transport solution, the narrow Panda invites viewers to rethink proportions, functionality, and playfulness in mechanical design. It’s a rolling experiment—part engineering challenge, part tribute, and part public spectacle.

LEGO creations have long blurred the line between toy and art, with builders recreating everything from classic cars to full-scale architectural icons. For Richard Paules, it was a childhood passion that turned into an extraordinary pursuit of miniature realism. After winning attention for his detailed LEGO model of Dulles International Airport, Paules has now unveiled his most ambitious build yet: a stunning replica of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, constructed from approximately 150,000 LEGO bricks.

The massive model is set to go on display in the ticketing area of Terminal 2 next week, just before the TSA checkpoint. Weighing nearly 120 pounds, the replica showcases the airport’s unique architecture, from the domed ceilings and expansive skylights to the multi-level arrivals and departures layout. It even includes a realistic baggage claim area, gate seating, jet bridges, and signature airfield markings. Every detail, down to the exact floor patterning, has been meticulously replicated with plastic bricks.

Paules spent nine months designing and assembling the model, calling it the most challenging project he had ever undertaken. Compared to his previous Dulles build, this one pushed his skills further due to Reagan National’s complex structural features and curved rooflines. As a solo builder, Paules had to manage both the creative vision and the physical logistics, including how to transport such a large and fragile piece safely to the airport. The project, now complete, reflects not only his technical skill but his deep fascination with aviation and public spaces.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority worked closely with Paules throughout the process, helping coordinate installation and display logistics. Airport staff were reportedly stunned by the model’s accuracy, with one operations manager noting how the LEGO version captured the character of the terminal almost perfectly. The model is currently hidden behind a curtain on the ticketing level between doors three and four, and will be unveiled to the public next Monday.

This installation continues a growing trend of using public art and interactive displays in transit hubs to enhance the traveler experience. Instead of rushing past generic hallways, passengers at Reagan National will now encounter an unexpected moment of creativity—one that offers both nostalgia and inspiration. The display also serves as a conversation piece for both aviation buffs and casual travelers, giving them a chance to appreciate the complexity of the airport in miniature.

Following the success of his Dulles model, Paules has again demonstrated how LEGO can transform familiar infrastructure into works of art. Now, Sunlight is preparing to take its off-grid philosophy further with the VW Ibex concept, its boldest and most rugged camper design to date.

Continuing BMW Motorrad’s tradition of pushing the envelope in motorcycle innovation, the DE-02 electric concept is a compelling evolution in the brand’s forward-looking portfolio. Having previously explored BMW’s design-driven approach to mobility, often marked by a fusion of bold aesthetics and engineering excellence, the DE-02 further solidifies this trajectory. Developed in collaboration with the iconic custom workshop Deus Ex Machina, the DE-02 isn’t just another electric bike.

Built on a platform derived from BMW’s previous electric motocross prototype dubbed E-Parkour, the DE-02 is reimagined with Deus’s distinct aesthetic sensibility. Its minimalistic frame, stripped of unnecessary bulk, keeps the structure lightweight while maintaining rugged functionality. The frame is crafted from chromoly steel, chosen for its balance of strength and weight, while the carbon fiber body elements contribute further to reducing mass without sacrificing durability.

A bold reinterpretation of the original CE 02, the DE-02 also draws inspiration from the creative universe of Deus Records, blending lifestyle culture with electric mobility. Departing from the usual utility-focused configurations, this version transforms the “eParkourer” concept into a fully functional DJ booth on two wheels. In place of a surf rack, the bike features a bespoke sound system equipped with four Marshall Middleton speakers and a centrally mounted turntable, inviting riders to mix music anywhere, right from urban alleys to remote mountainscapes. Priced at $15,000, this offering merges high-fidelity listening with haute couture, delivering a product that targets connoisseurs who value exclusivity as much as sound.

This move differentiates Hermès from traditional audio brands such as Bose, Sony, Sennheiser, and Apple. Rather than competing on technical specifications alone, Hermès positions its headphones as wearable art – designed not just to perform, but to signal status and taste. The idea is to have the few that we will do made perfectly, and that has been a very long learning process. It’s about really super high-end craftsmanship.”

The floor area of 88 x 48 inches is ample space to fit two sleeping bags. Given it is just 2 lbs, packing in other essentials like a 22-inch Dyneema vestibule area for the bags and boots, two storage pockets, or attachment loops for hanging clothes is nothing less than impressive.

Crosspeak 2 is quite airy on the inside with two doors and an adjustable ventilation system for proper circulation if you are cooking inside. The magnetic tie-backs on the doors make it very easy to close the tent opening when compared to other tents. The tent doesn’t come with any guy lines or hiking poles, which are vital in maintaining structural integrity in case of inclement weather conditions. The major reason is the use of Dyneema Composite Fiber (DCF) and the lightweight make – both of which add to the overall cost of this outdoor accessory. It is also equally imperative for them to warm-up the body, especially the feet and legs, to avoid injuries and perform better. This is what Nike x Hyperice intends to provide with the Hyperboot: A shoe that combines Nike’s footwear experience with the Hyperice expertise in recovery technologies.

The Hyperboot is built ground up for a purpose. Therefore, performance was never a question with this silhouette. The idea was always focused on helping the wearer recover, for which Hyperice had to stick within the Nike shoe design and integrate recovery tech into it, without changing the elegance of the shoe. So, for the interplay of design and functionality, the Hyperboot uses dynamic air compression to provide, recovery essentials, heat, and compression around the Achilles and the heel area of the wearer. Using the air compression, the shoe is able to drive heat deeper into body, which can better assist with the warm-up and recovery process of an athlete.

With the better mobility in the joint and deeper penetration of heat into the tissues, the Hypeboot can create a wonderful recuperating experience, which not only helps around the foot but also allows the heat to travel up to the calf and the leg for more relief and comfort. People who are deaf or cannot speak, or both – have long been aided by the American Sign Language (ASL) in communicating with people. Although the accuracy of the communication solely depends on the understanding of people on both ends, that can be a problem if one or more conversants are not that fluent in ASL. Researchers at Cornell University have recognized this problem and want to leverage the goodness of wearable technologies to make it smoother for people who are differently abled to communicate with the world as they intend to.

The experts at the university have employed the smart ring platform to develop a wearable that tracks the American Sign Language gestures of the wearer to accurately transcribe them into understandable text or audio to a computer or a smartphone. They call it the SpellRing, and it can be worn on the thumb to get the desired input for the translated data. The wearable comes with embedded sensors including a mini-gyroscope to measure the angular data from hand movement. The on-board speakers and mic detect the inaudible sound waves from the movement. All these components are housed inside a 3D-printed housing that’s no more than the size of a quarter.

The smart AI ring can detect all 26 letters in the English language with micro-sonar technology to precisely track the fingerspelling of the wearer. For more accuracy sonar images are also fed into the system. The data that is received from all the sensors and hardware is then processed by a deep-learning algorithm. All of this is done in a split second time to predict the ASL fingerspelled by the wearer. To make possible an in-depth and unbiased view of the wearable for further development, the researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and Stony Brook University, along with the researchers from Cornell University have tested the wearable thoroughly.

In the conducted tests, 20 amateur and experienced ASL signers were asked to spell more than 20,000 words to see the accuracy of the AI-assisted wearable ring. The 3D-printed wearable passed with a combined accuracy of around 90 percent with both signed words, as well as, sentences. It was even tested to perform actions such as web search, map navigation, or typing in notes with the input. According to Hyunchul Lim, lead author of SpellRing’s papered documentation, “ASL is a very complicated, complex visual language,” and the focus is right now on tuning the algorithm to make the AI ring understand words and phrases with maximum accuracy.

The SpellRing is currently in the prototype stage and there is no word on the availability of the ring yet. The team is confident that even in the current stage, ASL fingertyping will be significantly faster than typing on your smartphone’s keyboard. Researchers want this ring to be a tool for fast and accessible text entry with a niche set of benefits targeted toward a set of users. The prospects of this AI ring graduating to the wearable market are very high since it costs just $30 to make the current prototype AI ring. When it will be mass produced that cost can be further trimmed down.

Bandit9 Motors is well respected here at Yanko Design for their unique sense of going about for restomod conversions that have a piece of history associated with them. Kickstarting their exciting journey with motorbike restomods, the custom tuning shop moved onto the four wheels with the stunning Monaco electric car in pure black, and then later on the improved version of EVE Odyssey arrived.

Going back and forth between two-wheelers and four-wheelers alternatively, they’ve revealed the War Truck restomod under their coachbuilding division VAN DARYL Gallery. This will be their second project after the electric Batmobile under this sub-brand. The donor jeep for this build has a lot of history behind it, as it is one of the jeeps used by U.S. troops after the Vietnam War. Otherwise lying abandoned in obscurity and inevitable deterioration, the VAN DARYL War Truck (yes that’s what it is called) is infused with new life.

At heart the War Truck is an amalgam of intense military history with modern automotive aesthetics, reviving the tough vehicle into a restomod highlighted by a sci-fi treatment. Once VAN got the first jeep into their shop the truck was stripped down to see what old parts could still be relevant in the modern build. First, the team reinforced the custom-designed body with steel and aluminum frames to make it highly durable just like the Tesla Cybertruck. They also decided to increase the ground clearance by refitting the independent coil suspension. The front and rear drum brakes have been retained, encapsulated by the more modern steelie-inspired forged alloy wheels that have light aero-disc influence.

The boxy look is complemented by the rear-mounted full-spare tire housing, side-running exhausts, lightly flared fenders, bespoke steel bumper, retro-inspired LED headlights, and taillights that carry the same neo-retro design ethos. The edgy silhouettes are matched well by the rectangular windshield and mirrors, as well as the low-cut doors having wooden handles for the classic feel. According to  Villanueva “The War Truck isn’t just some homage or remake. To call it a ‘restoration’ would be an oversimplification. It is reimagined, rehabilitated, revived, and refined.”

On the inside, the jeep is drop-dead gorgeous with a purpose-built theme in pearl white. It comes with sports seats, modern switches to choose from various options, bespoke knobs, an infotainment display and an audio system. The steering and custom shift knob get the wooden bespoke treatment, while the widescreen instrument cluster panel is nothing short of impressive. The spacious and functional boot derives inspiration from yacht designs having teak-style wood deck trims. The whole interior can be customized as per the client’s needs with plenty of options to choose from.

Powering the guts of this vehicle is the battle-tested 4-cylinder, 2.3L engine but buyers can also opt for the powerful upgraded version, including one that is fully electric. The original version churns out 71hp and 128 ft-lbs of torque for a top speed of 100mph and a range of 300 miles per tank. In this configuration, the buyers can go for automatic or manual transmission variants. The handling and performance characteristics have been tuned to deliver maximum driving pleasure which makes the Wat Truck a force to reckon with. The vehicle hand-built on a made-to-order basis is available for order right away.

The iconic American roadster from the 1910s is marking its presence again with a modernized appeal all thanks to Stephen Wright. Yes, I’m talking about the Cyclone motorcycle designed and developed originally by Joerns Motor Manufacturing Company. This performance roadster was way ahead of its time as it was capable of reaching speeds over 150 km/h, driven by a 996cc engine.

The bike made frequent appearances at the board track racing circuits until 1917 when other bike makers offered cheaper versions. Ultimately the Joerns’ had to sell it to Ignaz Schwinn of Excelsior Motor Company who later developed many machines engineered on the two-wheeler. The Cyclone motorbike was officially discontinued in 1920, and to date, only a handful of examples have survived the sands of time. In fact, only 14 bikes exist in current times, and five of them are pure racing versions. That’s how exclusive this classic motorbike actually is!

It is hard to believe that the motorcycle is more than a century old and still in sublime condition. Most of that can be attributed to Stephen’s effort in restoring the yellow-painted V-twin bike. For the unassuming, the two-wheeler could be nothing special, but for collectors, it is a prized possession. This was the first ever overhead-camshaft motorcycle and since there were only a limited number of units churned out in the three-year-long manufacturing run, the bike was second to none. Being powered by a 61ci air-cooled OHC engine configuration, having a Schebler carburetor mated to a single-speed transmission controlled via a foot clutch, the machine churned out 45 horsepower. That amount of thrust for a bike in the early 1900s was totally unheard of. Also, it is worth mentioning that the two-wheeler’s engine employed self-aligning roller bearings instead of the more commonly used plain bushes. These were in place to adjust for the misalignment of the engine due to vibrational movement.

The engine combustion chamber has an elongated dome-shaped configuration and classy fenders which lends the bike a distinct persona in the signature yellow hue. Joerns Motor Manufacturing Company also sold the bike in blue color, but for this one-off restoration, Stephen opted for the eye-popping color.
